Every Ramadan I like to hand out treats to co-workers. It’s a Ramadan tradition I made up. Last year, I made M&M cookies which we handed out in these printable bags. The year before that, I handed out samosas to my co-workers at Chatelaine magazine. This year I’m doing samosas again – but with different packaging. Here is the samosa bag – a free Ramadan printable – that I’ve designed for this year.
The design features a sketch of a samosa along with the wording “Hot Samosa.” It fits on a lunch bag 5 1/8″ wide x 9 5/8″ tall. That’s the standard size for coloured paper bags found at party supply stores and some dollar stores; it’s a little bit different in size than your average kraft paper bag.
You can download the printable here and easily print at home. When you open the file in Adobe Reader make sure the file is at 100% or “Actual Size” and hit print. If you’re using Preview, the same applies – make sure you’re printing at “Actual Size.”
Note: If you’re using a kraft paper bag or a bag that is not 5 1/8″ x 9 5/8″, you might not want to print at “Actual Size.” If you’re bag is smaller, you may want to scale it down (for example to 80% or 90%); if your bag is larger, scale it up (maybe to 125%). Check the label on the bags you bought to see what size they are – the label always indicates the dimensions of the bag.
Enjoy!
